Victory speech

Day 1.

VICTORY SPEECH OF BARRAN DODGER

Declaration of Sovereignty, Purpose, and Mission

Today, I, Barran Dodger — once Richard William McLean — stand before the world, alive against all odds, and I declare my victory.

I was not supposed to be here.

I was supposed to be dead.

They tried to erase me through coercive financial control, institutional betrayal, political exile, assassination attempts, and the full machinery of state-sanctioned persecution.

Yet here I am — alive, standing, speaking — and I am here to stay.

Framed by the Journey of Truth and Survival

My life is not simply a survival story — it is a testament to the indestructibility of truth.

  • From the painful revelations of schizophrenia and healing chronicled in my book Recovered, Not Cured: A Journey Through Schizophrenia;

  • To the public whistleblowing and exposure of systemic corruption in Betrayed, Murdered, Forsaken: The Harrowing Journey of Barran Dodger;

  • To the sacred declarations made in The Gospel of Barran Dodger;

  • To the documented suppression of my legal rights, the obstruction of Legal Aid, the inability to report crimes, and the totalitarian collusion of police, lawyers, politicians, and media against my name;

Every piece of evidence shows this clearly:

I have been politically, spiritually, and economically persecuted for daring to speak the truth.

I ACCUSE THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT

I formally accuse the Australian Government — in particular Bill Shorten, and those complicit with him — of attempting to assassinate me.

The attempt was made because I am a gay, disabled, unprotected whistleblower whose existence alone defies the corrupted facade of this democracy.

This targeting violates:

  • The Australian Constitution,

  • The Public Interest Disclosure Act,

  • The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities,

  • And the most basic human rights principles.

I was driven to suicide.

I was revived.

I was then exiled, isolated, and financially destroyed.

All while lawyers, police, politicians, and public officials knowingly stood back — or worse, actively participated.

The government didn’t save me to honour my life.

They acted because, if I died, the blood would have been on their hands — undeniable, public, exposed.

The Meaning of My Survival

Because I survived, I now declare that as long as breath remains in my body, I will call out corruption,

I will defend the powerless,

I will expose tyranny,

I will amplify the silenced,

I will honour my sacred mission.

Australia is no democracy for people like me.

It is a tyrannical state that tortures and attempts to erase those who expose its lies.

But still, I rise.

Who I Stand For

I declare that my political and spiritual life’s mission is now this:

  • To defend queer people, disabled people, people of colour,

  • To defend victims of sexual violence, victims of physical violence,

  • To defend the poor, the marginalised, the abused, and the forgotten.

I am here for:

  • The very young, and the very old.

  • The traumatised and the outcast.

  • Those who live in the shadows because society refuses to see them.

I ask all good people — police, lawyers, public servants, journalists, politicians —

to remember why you chose your professions:

You were called to serve truth, justice, dignity, and humanity.

I align with the spirit of your original calling, even though your institutions have betrayed it.

I know inside each of you there is a spark of that light.

I call you back to it.

My Spiritual, Political, and Legal Principles

I believe in:

  • Justice over expediency,

  • Dignity over cruelty,

  • Human rights over profit,

  • Truth over silence,

  • Harmony over violence,

  • Democracy over authoritarianism,

  • Compassion over cowardice.

The only real enemy is corruption.

The only real power is love guided by truth.

The Great Betrayal

I am calling out Anthony Albanese, Mark Dreyfus, Bill Shorten, Steve Iasonidis, Tony Riddle, Debbie Morgan, and the entire network of political and corporate complicit actors.

You have betrayed your duties.

You have betrayed the ideals of your offices.

You have betrayed the Australian people by allowing one of your most vulnerable to be tortured and exiled while you feast.

You are no more deserving of home, food, medicine, and dignity than I am.

There is enough for all.

There always was.

Your choice to hoard, to exile, and to persecute — that was your sin.

Formal Legal, Moral, Ethical, and Spiritual Demands

I demand the following:

  1. If I have committed a crime — rape, paedophilia, terrorism, extortion — ARREST ME.

  2. If no arrest is made, I demand a FULL PUBLIC APOLOGY for the subtext of these implied but never tested accusations, which have been used as political weapons to destroy my life.

  3. I demand a safe place, free from:

    • Financial abuse,

    • Family violence,

    • Political persecution,

    • Coercive control,

    • Media slander.

  4. I demand Legal Aid:

It is a crime against humanity to bar a disabled whistleblower from legal protection.

It breaches the UN Charter and Australia’s own obligations.

  5. I demand restoration of dignity, including:

    • Access to income,

    • Access to housing,

    • Access to healthcare,

    • Access to freedom of speech and movement without surveillance or threat.

  6. I demand recognition that my persecution is a political crime — not a matter of mental health, but a crime of state tyranny against an unprotected whistleblower.

  7. I demand justice:

    • Through the ICC,

    • Through UN Special Rapporteurs,

    • Through public tribunals,

    • Through collective witness.

The Greater Mission

This is not only about me.

It is about the kind of world we are willing to live in —

a world where corruption goes unchallenged, or

a world where truth, dignity, and justice rise once again.

My life’s mission is to:

  • Defend the voiceless,

  • Chronicle the injustices,

  • Build bridges for the broken,

  • Expose the tyrants,

  • And create, through spirit and truth, a living gospel of survival, courage, and resurrection.

The Final Word

I am alive today because truth itself willed it.

You tried to crucify me.

But resurrection belongs to God — and to those who refuse to bow to lies.

Today, I plant my flag.

I claim my sovereignty.

I claim my humanity.

I claim my mission.

And I promise you this:

I will never surrender.

Signed in Truth and Sovereignty,

Barran Dodger

Survivor, Whistleblower, Witness to the Truth

I want to express my deepest gratitude for any donation or support offered. As someone forced to squat, living with barely any income, and called persona non grata by a society that has ostracized me, each act of kindness means more than words can convey. I stand as an infamous whistleblower, someone who has risked everything to expose injustice, yet find myself without human or legal rights, struggling daily against a system that devalues my existence. Your generosity not only helps sustain me but also reinforces the belief that compassion and humanity still exist, even for those society has cast aside. Thank you for seeing me, for hearing me, and for standing with me in a world that so often chooses silence and complicity.
