Grogan the Grateful Monster is a children's book designed, written and illustrated by Richard McLean. Richard is a Research Fellow at Victoria University Melbourne. In creating the book, Richard says, 'I wanted to create a book that focusses on mindfulness and gratitude for children that encourages reflections for children and adults alike to appreciate the good things in their lives, all in a fun and colourful way.' This is Richards first children's book, although he has in the past been an illustrator for major newspapers for many years in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia.
